Dead Prez - Stimulus Plan

Dead Prez and DJ Green Lantern are currently working on a Mixtape called "Pulse of the People" Turn off the Radio Vol.3, which will be available on June 23. They also have an album coming in November called "Information Age". They put out a song from the Mixtape called "Stimulus Plan". I'm sure DJ Green Lantern produced a couple of the tracks. I think Green Lantern did a great job on Immortal Technique's "The 3rd World" so, if it's street and grimey like I know it'll be... I can't wait.

Intro with an excerpt from Dr. Cornel West. This track is one of my favorites. My voice has changed since my last album 2 years ago. You can hear the urgency, pain, and passion. Give it a listen. The music that I make is much more personal for me than a lot of other things that I do but that's because my creativity reflects my personality.

I haven't had time to record for a while and I feel like I've had so many thoughts and ideas that I get writers block. There is so much to say and I've always been cautious about how I present things to people. I feel like this album is a musical research paper with more than just rhymes over a beat but when I get the flow going it's monstrous.

Statement;
"By digitally removing a woman's nipples, have we desexualized her? If so, is the mainstream American media responding to societal demand for some kind of "pretend" decency in magazines and ads? Does nipple removal let us flirt with feminine sexuality without crossing the boundaries of "good taste"? What does this say about American culture? Does it reflect a certain type of hypocrisy? Does this approach further objectify women as plastic objects or playthings?


The photography duo loreffrey became fascinated with these questions and decided to create the portrait series Nipple Non Grata to challenges viewers to contemplate the practice and question the assumptions that drive this portrayal of women's bodies in the media."

Advertisements, billboards, television shows, movies and everything else in this market driven economy is partly based on over stimulation of sexual acts or insinuations. Do you think I'm really going to buy your deodorant because you claim that hot model girls will have sex with me (*cough AXE cough*). Get the fuck out of here.
