Dead Prez - Let's Get Free

The first time I heard this cd was about 3 months ago. I was instantly hooked. It's a disgrace that this cd came out in 2000. 8 years without listening to this and everything they speak of is still relevant.

Shoot Me Down (Remix)

This song is something that I made about 1 month ago. I am currently working on a cd/mixtape entitled "Life After Immigration". I'm a couple of songs into it. Hope everyone likes it. This is one of my projects for the summmer between work, reading, writing, educating myself, family and friends, I'll continue to stay enrolled as a busy student in the University of life.

Revolutionary Suicide

Revolutionary Suicide is a book by Dr. Huey P. Newton from the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense. Pick it up at your local library(hahahah) or just buy it online.

This man was very intelligent and a defender of the oppressed. It's a shame what the COINTELPRO did to these young group of freedom fighters.

American Blackout

I watched this documentary a while back and it gave me an insight on the disenfranchised voters during the 2000 and 2004 presidential election. It also covers the re-election of a Congresswoman by the name of Cynthia McKinney to the U.S. House of Representatives.

She ran for President in 2008 as the Green Party nominee. She speaks truth.
